About the Author

 

George Bassilios is a professor of Christian Apologetics, teaching at St. Athanasius Seminary in Nashville, Tennessee; St. Paul Seminary in Canada; and St. Paul Institute in Egypt. He lectures internationally and frequently appears on Christian media platforms. He is the author of Timeless Truth in Truthless Times and Timeless Truth for Teens.

George holds dual degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from California State University, Hayward, and has been in the ministry of Apologetics for over 20 years.

He is the son of the late Hegumen Fr. Bassilios Bassilios, priest of El Botrosiya Church in Cairo. George immigrated from Egypt with his family in 1985 and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area ever since. He is a deacon and youth servant at St. Antonius Coptic Orthodox Church in Hayward, California. He resides with his wife, Miranda, and their two sons, Daniel and Jonathan.
